The Denmark Veseys' Jerry Joseph and Steve Drizos welcome Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Bret Mosley in this 7-track collaboration, which includes two covers, two new Joseph originals, two Mosley originals, a co-write—the title track, which commemorates election night of Nov '08. The predominantly acoustic effort runs the gamut from the intense, raw “Charge” and “What You Feel”, to the quirky, playful “Isabella Bird”, to Joseph’s stark a cappella rendition of the traditional spiritual “On Time God”. Recorded over the course of three days at Old Soul Studio in Catskill, NY, with a live performance setup and first-take vocals - the project used vintage technology throughout. Tracked on analog tape, nothing digital was introduced until the final mix was burned to CD. “Charge” is availabe now as an online download which will include bonus content as it becomes available. The physical CD will hit the streets in January ‘09 & this trio will tour in support of this new release.
